Awesome book.

I think one of the biggest selling points of the book is the fact that it is so readable. The fact that it's a story makes it really entertaining, so that even someone who's not super into prepping could easily find it enjoyable and pretty thought provoking.

Love all the Atlas Shrugged/Second Citizenship/PT stuff. Even though it's a pretty unique thought surrounded by some unique emotions, geo-political arbitrage could be the ultimate "self sufficiency."

I just read this on ITS recommendation and all I can say is wow. This is by far the most rivetting book on survivalism/shtf/eoftwawki/etc. Most reader, myself included, will find if very easy to identify with the author as his prepper mentality, paranoia, and priority shifts evolve. This book is both informative and inspiring. I plan to give copies to my entire family as required reading. Hopefully, it will help sway some of them to become more proactive about their preperations, skill development, and outlook on the future.

Thanks ITS for the great review, site, and information.
