The book so far is great. I can only dedicate so much time to it because I have been taking more notes on 'the finshing school' and contstantly flipping through the seal fitness and nutrition guide. But with only reading 200+pgs I have also recommended this book to buddies that are intrigued by survival books. I do like how he wraps politics into it and refers to other books he has previously read...Can't wait to finish it

How about if you are lost at sea with no raft. Your survival swim position is to spread out your arms, and float face down in the water, only moving your head when you need a breath. Your feet will naturally sink, leaving you upright. You will still attract sea creatures, since you are floating, but they will be less inclined (if ever so slightly, it works for me) to see if you taste good. You can still hear helicopters, and have a more keen sense of boats in the area. This will save energy opposed to treading water. This is my preferred method since I am rather muscular, leaving me struggling in spread eagle.
