booksWe’ve casually referenced our recommended reading on ITS Tactical as we’ve seen fit, but have now come up with a comprehensive list of our favorites.

You’ll now see a link above called Books that breaks down our favorites by categories. Most of these are books that have helped us learn and grow over the years, and you can be sure that they’re all books we’ve read.

We’ll never recommend books to you that we haven’t read ourselves. If you have any to share with us, be sure to send us an email or post a comment so we can add them to the books we need to read.

Full Disclosure: The list of books are Amazon affiliate links. For those of you who don’t know what those are, if you make a purchase through one of our affiliate links we get a tiny kickback.

Nothing spectacular, but sometimes enough to cover our Web server fees.

We’d appreciate it if you’d check out our recommended reading list and help support ITS Tactical!

What are your favorite books?

I have read many of the books on your site before I even knew about your site and I have to say either great minds think alike or tey realy are good books!

Justin,

It’s probably a little of both :)

I’m in the same boat as Justin. I’ve read several of the books on the list and there are a couple others I knew of that I’ve yet to read on there as well. Glad to know I’ve been reading the good stuff.

Ditto!

If you liked those, I’d like to suggest you check out ‘Green Eyes & Black Rifles’ (Kyle E. Lamb), ‘Leadership and Training for the Fight’ (Paul R. Howe), and Inside Delta Force (Eric L. Haney).

Great List!

I’ve read a lot of these. Here are a few I recommend.

I’m really fond of “Surviving the Economic collapse” By FerFal (http://ferfal.blogspot.com/), it’s a real practical approach to survival-ism from a “Been there-Done that” guy, just understand English is his second language and the book is poorly edited.

“Deep Survival” by Laurence Gonzales is a really good read on the topics of both survival and mindset.

“World War Z” by Max Brooks is a great read and a great piece of satire that takes on significant relevance once you understand what the Zombies really represent.

I would highly recommend Deep Survival by Laurence Gonzalez.

No list is complete without “Patriots” by James Wesley Rawles. Great preparedness book in fiction style with nonfiction information. It is a story of a survival group going through a TEOTWAWKI situation and how they prepared for it.

The Gift of Fear and Fear Less by Gavin de Becker are excellent books for crafting a winning survival mindset!
