Nobody is going to hurt another person in this way to practise, but if you are training operators going into harms way you will want to have realism in order to save lives. Use your imagination. Not only persons have a circulatory system. If this is spelled out on this page the people who will never go into combat but prowl the net for politically incorrect subjects will have something to moan about. Respect the author, take the hint.

Interesting article. I can’t see anybody deliberately knicking an artery on a person unless there is a really good medical reason… so not a person?

But then are you using some sort of fake person with artificial blood vessels or just showing pictures? As a lifeguard I’ve had this training so this is pretty interesting.
