I like to find a way just to attach it to a everyday belt. Then when I'm camping/hiking I think it make a great emergency survival or medical kit.

I'm becoming a big fan of these pouches the more I look at them. I'm currently trying to decide whether or not this will work to reduce what I carry up front in my cruiser every day. I currently have a full size duty bag on the passenger seat... unless I work with a partner and then EVERYTHING has to go in the trunk. I'm thinking this may be a decent middle ground to hold just enough to sit in between the two seats next to or in front of the long guns.

Tierlieb,

It's all about the end user, you. To put it bluntly, If it doesn't work for you, then it just doesn't. I'll agree it's a huge admin pouch, the largest I've even had my hands on. But there's different uses for Admin pouches such as mounting to a pack, or for those that need the large working space. This could also be mounted to the front of a trio of mag pouches that have PALS on the front.

A lot of EOD tecs also need extra admin space for tools etc... There are specific EOD tool pouches out there too though.

There's no conspiracy to produce larger and larger admin pouches, and I know you probably don't think that, it was just funny to me how you said "It started with Mil-Spec Monkey's and lead to this" LOL...

Anyhow, YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) is a common term thrown around in the military and the gear world. It's good to have options, you just have to see what works for YOU.

Thanks for the comment,
Bryan

I hear you Joel! When I saw that the other day I said that's such a brilliant solution, I wonder why no one thought of that before? LOL

Looks like great craftsmanship and obviously, some thought went into it. Pretty cool stuff, tech-wise.

But: What's the point of admin pouches getting bigger and bigger? The main point of putting stuff on the front of your carrier is to have is easily accessible, right? And the stuff you want to get the fastest... are mags, aren't they? Depending on your job, maybe your handgun. But surely not some rather bulky thing that blocks the three main mag pouches in front.

To me, it started with mil-spec monkeys admin pouch and it lead to this: Stuff that is very useful to have with you on the range, because you can have your phone, camera, screwdriver and papers within reach. Hell, it is also useful for airsoft (unless you use mil-sim mags with realistic capacities), plus you can show off all your cool patches.

But to carry this on a direct-action rig? Or am I getting it wrong? Convince me.

By the way, great idea using the Emdom GPS holder. One of my biggest concerns with making some kind of 'sleeve' solution like that was sizing it to fit the greatest range of devices. Using the elastic/vinyl that way was a great idea, definitely a "why didn't I think of that???" moment!

The plastic came down to a cost thing. You start to pile on all these little details and it becomes clear you need to find a balance that gives you the best price and the greatest number of features that will be useful to the widest range of customers. Like Bryan said, we can do custom stuff.

Wayne, the Mega Admin runs $65 for Coyote Brown and $68 for Multicam. The Map Pouch is an additional $15.
Thanks for the suggestion on the comparison. We'll definitely see what we can do about that.

I wouldn't see any issue with wearing it over armor Jeremey, HDPE can be fairly thin and offer just enough rigidity to stabilize a writing surface, but yet be flexible enough to contour to armor or a chest rig.

Thanks for the comment,

Agreed Blake! Attaching the 550 to the HDPE in some form or fashion would work nicely. Zulu commented on their Facebook that they'll custom make the Mega Admin however the customer would like.

Thanks for the comment, and hope you're enjoying the ETA Kit!
