Thank You for the informative review. Good to hear from someone in the field actually using it everyday. I have a question though, while I can carry a very heavy pack, I'm not a tall as some of the guys in the service. ( 5 foot 9 inches) Is this pack gonna swallow me alive? I've carried the Eberlestock Operator, it fit me fine, how does this pack compare? I'm not concerned about weight, I just don't want it to be too big to fit properly.
Thanks

Hey Fuspar. I never actually had a chance to use the rifle carry feature of the pack. When I was carrying my M4, it was always in my hands at the ready on my single point sling. If you look at Eberlestock.com they have a little animation showing a guy pulling his rifle out of the scabbard.

Thanks for the review. How easy is it to retrieve a rifle from the scabbard while wearing the pack? What kind of weapon were you carrying?
