We Want You to Write for ITS!

By The ITS Crew

Here at ITS, we’ve always made it our mission to re-introduce people to skill-sets that empower them to prevail over life’s opposing forces. While a good amount of the information we publish here on ITS is written by our staff, many articles are written and shared by people just like you. Content from contributors allows our readers to see things from a different point of view and helps to showcase what an incredible community we have!

So if you have an idea, draft or article that you’d like to see published here on ITS, we want to hear it! Below, we’ve listed what types of content we’re looking for and some guidelines on how to submit it to us. We’ve also instituted a very competitive compensation program, so if exposure, or even just earning extra revenue is your motivation, read on for more details.

Who are we looking for?

We’re always on the lookout for talented writers, but even if you’ve never published an article, our editorial staff can help to develop your topic and guide you in the right direction. Meaning, don’t let the fact you’re not a seasoned writer stop you from reaching out with an idea. We’re open to most any topic, as long as it’s insightful and builds on the the content we already feature on our site.

What are we looking for?

We typically like our articles to run between 750 to 2,500 words and be focused on a specific topic. We’re not really looking for Top 10 lists or pieces that are just aggregates of other content.

Great photography is a valuable part of any article, so the higher quality images you can provide, the better. We prefer contributing articles aren’t originally published or republished on other websites, unless this is discussed ahead of time. We take pride in the fact that our content is original and exclusive.

When are we looking for it?

As soon as possible! Some submissions are even published within days of receiving them. However, for pieces that are geared towards reviewing a product, we like for the author to have enough time to fully use and understand the item. We like reviews that capture what it’s like to actually use the item, rather than just unbox it.

Any time is a good time to submit your article to ITS and if it’s something we’re interested in publishing, we’ll follow up with you right away with all the details. We won’t be holding your content hostage for months at a time.

Where are we looking for it?

The best place to submit your idea or article is submissions@itstactical.com From there, we’ll follow up with some contributor information and get the process started. Please note that we reserve the right to decline any material that’s submitted and any contributing articles that solely promote products you’re selling will be declined.

Why are we looking for it?

At ITS, we’re always looking to share information on the newest techniques and products. After eight years in business, what we’ve built is first and foremost a community. Rather than be the only voice in the community, we always seek to offer different ideas and opinions.

Some of the best articles we’ve run have been submitted by contributors and ITS exists as a resource for great content. Knowledge is power and our hope is that by publishing even more great content, we’ll give our contributors and readers more tools and knowledge to prevail.

Are you getting more than 14¢ of value per day from ITS?
