Remembering Pearl Harbor and Never Forgetting

I think FDR said it best one of his famous quotes: “December 7, 1941, A date which will live in Infamy… No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people, in their righteous might, will win through to absolute victory.

Let us never forget the hardships that our nation and its warriors faced this day 70 years ago, or what today’s warriors are up against. Please take time today to remember what our country went through and those we lost.

    Reading the stories of the survivors that are wishing to be buried with their shipmates is another great reminder of all the brave men and women of the armed forces. Past, present and future.

    I find the greatest tragedy is that FDR made efforts to antagonize the Japanese in the first place, knowingly leading both nations to a situation that would end in suffering.
