Whaaaaaat??? No zip ties? There’s always room for zip ties! A couple other multi-use “repair” items that I carry are single use superglue ampules. You can get these in a 4 count in a durable plastic case.. Crosses over from gear to medical. I also like a couple of the Velcro cable ties like you get on a roll. A couple of these do well to secure loose straps, cordage, or electronic cables. Also nice if you need to secure or hang something like a lightstick or headlamp better than a carabiner for most things.

Finally a repair buckle for a waist strap for you pack is a must have. If that breaks you’re hosed and it can’t be easily improvised.

Good episode. Zipties, superglue, and a couple of small packets of Sugru should also be added to the list.
