U.S. Marines of Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, on May 31st, 2008, provide security for the vehicles as they halt during a convoy from one base to another in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan. 2nd Battalion 7th Marines, based out of Marine Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms, is a reinforced light infantry Battalion deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
