While Bryan and Kelly are out having a blast at the Overland Expo, the rest of us back at ITS headquarters want to have some fun too. To kick off the weekend, we decided to run a contest giving away one of every single patch we make!
It’s easy to enter and all added up, one lucky person is going to receive over $180 worth of our patches! You better act fast though because this contest only runs through the weekend!
We asked to see what you carry in your bag on a daily basis and you certainly delivered. There were some really great submissions but we could only pick two winners for the $25 Gift Certificate to the ITS Tactical Store.
It was great to see different items carried and how they could be useful in a variety of scenarios. Whether you can pack light and travel fast or you have to carry enough gear for your family, being prepared is key.
With the recently published article by The Art of Manliness, we discussed how it was both useful and important to carry a pocket notebook. To jumpstart your pocket notebook usage, we are giving away two sets of our full Field Notes memo book lineup.
MURPH: The Protector is a feature-length documentary based on LT Michael Murphy’s entire life of honor, courage and commitment, as told by his friends, family and teammates. This film premieres on March 22nd, 2013, exclusively at select Regal Entertainment Group Theatres.
We’ve teamed up with Kill Cliff and Mactavish Pictures to bring you an awesome contest for a great cause. The world needs to see what a true hero looks like. Michael Murphy is an American hero who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery in Afghanistan during Operation Red Wings in 2005. Never forget those that have given their life for others.
Two lucky people will win a prize pack for themselves and a friend to watch this documentary on opening day. In addition to the movie theatre gift certificate, Kill Cliff is throwing in a case of “The Tasty” and a couple Kill Cliff morale patches. There are multiple ways to enter so read on for the details!
You guys are awesome! This is by far the most successful giveaway we’ve ever had on ITS Tactical. With over 20,000 entries and amazing words of support, it’s clear that you guys love the new contest format.
We’d like to say thank you to all of those that went above and beyond. Instead of just using the generic tweet or Facebook share, you added some great comments and trust us, we noticed.
Whether you carry a messenger bag, backpack or something else, we want to see what’s in it! We’ve run a few “What’s in Your Pockets” contests, but we’ve decided to switch things up a little. Sharing what we carry every day can help provide everyone else with ideas on how to adjust or improve their setup.
While there’s no reason to carry 10 days worth of emergency rations, you certainly need to have what you consider “the basics” covered. Although, even if you have a solid set of items that would help get you out of an emergency situation, you may not have the ability to get to that bag if it’s in your car or away from you.
You’ll need to head over here for all the details, but this is something you won’t want to miss! We’re giving away three brand new Limited Edition Multitasker TUBEs in Carbon Fiber Hydrowrap! Only 50 of these have been made!
A huge thanks to Chris and Multitasker for making this happen!
One of our Plank Owners, Eric Chevalier, recently contacted us about using ITS as an outlet to donate some gear that he no longer needed. Eric personally sent over two huge boxes to us so we could distribute it as we saw fit to those in harms way.
While we were able to get a few things out to our brothers down range, there’s still a log of gear that needs a good home. So, piggybacking on Eric’s awesome gesture, we’ve thrown in some gear and ITS merchandise into the pile of awesome.
ITS is going to cover the shipping to send this stuff out to whomever we feel has the most need for the gear, regardless of where they’re at in the world. We want this to get to those who need it. While we’d prefer it went to deployed Military or Contractors, our Law Enforcement brothers at home are no less deserving. [Read More…]
