092109_swatch_UCP_Delta_800.JPGOur friends at Custom Gear Report have a great post today summing up the blogosphere news on the new Army pattern UCP Delta.

UCP Delta is the current Universal Camouflage Pattern (ACU) enhanced with a new color, “coyote brown,” blended into it.

brick-wallStrike-Hold! has just published an excellent visual comparison of camouflage patterns on their blog.

The three patterns compared are Bulldog Tactical Equipment’s Mirage, Crye Precision’s MultiCam and the Army Universal Camouflage Pattern (ACU).

Instead of voicing our opinions, take a look at the article on Strike-Hold! and let us know what you think in the comments here.

We’d love to hear from you.

itstacticalmulticampatch2It only took a few short weeks to completly sell out of our first batch of ITS Patches! We’ve had such a great response that we’ve decided to order up some patches in a Multicam color scheme.

Our friend MilSpecMonkey came up with three variants for the color scheme as shown in the image to the right, and we’d like YOU to decide which you like the best! Vote below!!

Place your vote below by Sunday, August 9th at 11:59 p.m. CT, and the winning color scheme will be ordered and available soon!

We’re also curious if there’s enough interest in getting more Tan/Grey and Black/White/Grey made up as well.

Let us know in the comments or with an email if you’re interested.

Stay tuned for an update!

BFGVCASMod10Here’s a great way to make a little modification to a Blue Force Gear VCAS Padded Double A Model and quickly convert it from a two-point sling to single-point sling.

There are a couple of slings out there currently that can convert like this, The Emdom/MM Gunslinger and the Magpul MS2 Sling. Both of these are excellent slings and easily make the two-point to single-point conversion, but the purpose of our modification is to take a sling that many people might already own, and enable it to convert. BFG DAP Discreet Case 01Blue Force Gear has just released their DAP (Denied Area Pattern) Discreet Case, and we’ve had a chance to buy one and kick it around for a bit.

The DAP Discreet Case is designed to carry either an assembled 11.5″ M4 style weapon or a broken down 16″ Carbine. It has a removable padded divider in the case to protect the broken down components, a small slot pocket for storing paperwork or small parts, and a hook & loop field for ID patches. [Read More…]
