What is the tan weaponlight that is on that mount. The light that is on the front of the video before you hit play?

Thanks for the reply – - – i doubt you violated any laws ;-)
I’m guessing its CYA for IWC – someone would surely mount it far enough back to potentially have the mounting screws interfere with the piston/cup/etc. I was more concerned about interaction with the Pusher Screws on the front of the rail system, but it looks like you’ve cleared them as well. Cool!
As for its extending past the FH – obviously a quality shock-isolated weaponlight (SF Scout being one) + some vaseline on the lens = blaster GTG.

Perhaps I did something I wasn’t supposed to, but it’s been working great for me (it’s a piston.) The only issue I see is the light extending further than the flash hider, but the ergonomics of being able to have my support hand in the exact same position on both rifles makes up for that. There’s hardly much that sticks past it either. I’ll do some digging and find out more for you.

Bryan – I had eyed the Dropwing for my LWRC 10.5″ as well, but the IWC website says it is NOT compatible with LWRC piston guns… did you have to mod anything to get it to fit (or do you have a LWRC DI gun)?
