Finally got a chance to post my EDC, I have been hesitant, because from the first day I stumbled upon ITS, I have been developing my EDC. So far, this is what I have chosen to carry. What Is pictured is what I carry on a daily basis. I typically wear 5.11 taclite shorts when I’m not at work, and 5.11 taclite pro pants when I am. I am a Paramedic in the city of Fort Worth, TX. In the picture, I carry everything but the rescue hook and glove pouch on my days off, and carry everything to include those items when I am working. Posted Image-SOL survival kit in waterproof bag, carried in right thigh pocket-Maxpedition wallet, right rear pocket.-Oakley (4+1)2, on head/over eyes.-coins, right front pocket, gold dollar, both Australian coins trade items for geocaching, NRA challenge coin, quarter run over by train, token.-ring worn on hand.-CRKT rescue hook and holster, worn on belt while working.-generic glove pouch, holds two pairs, worn next to hook on  belt at work.-Casio G-shock watch. worn on wrist.-majestic lock pick set, carried left front pocket-smith and Wesson rescue knife with window punch. Right rear pocket with wallet-cutco folding knife. Left rear pocket-INOVA AA led light, left front pocket with lock pick set.-car key, with streamlight nano light, right front pocket.-lighter with duct tape wrap, right front pocket.-white tube contains advil, right front pocket.-chap stick, right front pocket-swiss army knife, usually used for the small scissors, right front pocket-HTC evo phone, carried left thigh pocket.-Glock 27, hornady rounds, carried IWB, right hand. I cant carry at work, so it stays in the car.

Keys:Leatherman MicraSwissTech screw driverVial of Tritium (just so I can say I am carrying radiological materials… and to find my keys at night)Home-made calipers/lockpick/wire strippersLED flashlight Wallet:Duct Tape30lb spectra fishing line (green)80lb spectra (yellow)(2) needles(2) paperclipsflossing toothpickCustom creditcard lockpick set (includes mini hacksaw blade and custom-shaped rakes) Everything else:Uniball Micro pen (metal clip is good makeshift tension tool)Invicta Russian Diver watchFossil sunglasses Not pictured: either a Spyderco or Buck pocketknife... or if I am in the mood for something awesomely impractical, my Bokermatic. FYI, My work is business casual and no guns allowed, so the peashooter stays in the car.  If I have to walk through a security line, I dump or check the knife, micra, and credit card lockpicks but have never had trouble with the backup caliper set (they aren't and don't look like a weapon), so the rest of my EDC is pretty much the same even on the road.  The duct tape and fishing line combo have been used to repair everything from my desert boots to a broken robot.

Posted ImageStuff I carry (Left to right, top to bottom):
  • Maglite XL50
  • Italian leather wallet my uncle gave me for high school graduation 10 years ago. There's usually no cash in it.
  • Yellow Bic (I used to have a blue one).
  • Colt Cobra 1st issue loaded with 6 whole rounds of Federal HydraShock 110 grain standard pressure. Original walnut conceal grips. Appendix carried in an IWB Galco stow-n-go.
  • Keys
  • Beat-up Benchmade 51 (I've carried it everyday for years). Clipped in left pocket. My co-workers say they know when I'm at my desk because they can hear me flipping it from outside my office door. It is an excellent concentration aid.
  • Business Card Holder. Usually where my cash resides if I have the fortune to wrestle some away from my wife.
  • CRKT Eat n' Tool
  • ToolLogic pocket knife sharpener and pen light.
  • Blue Duct Tape.
  • Flint and magnesium stick.
  • Quarrow turtle multitool.
  • Mini-carabiner that should never be used to support human weight (as indicated on the packaging).
  • MoPho (Motorola Photon).
  • EESE Izula, carried clipped to my belt, inverted (tip up), on the right side just behind my front right pocket, bite side facing rear.
  • Paracord, like 4 or 5 feet.
  • Red rubber band. I use it more than you''d think.
I have a stainless casio digital watch I am very fond of, but it bugs me to wear it when I'm typing, so it stays at home now. Also, in the interest of being honest, I usually leave the maglite on the nightstand.

My EDC isn't as robust compared to some, but it is simple and well suited to my personality and my means.Posted Image
  • Watch (One of two depending upon where I am and weather)
  • Medical Data dog tag
  • Folding knife
  • HuMn Wallet (Pardon the plug, but it was my first Kickstarter and it is awesome!)
  • Cell phone
  • Keys, with one key being filed to a minor point. It is good for tape on boxes or other things if my keys are out and my knife isn't.
  • small multi-tool with your basic pliers, wire cutters, knife, screwdrivers, can opener, bottle opener, and file
  • USB thumbdrive
  • Zippo lighter
  • Stainless steel credit card sized multi-tool thing. It was a knife edge, saw edge, wrench, screwdriver, bottle opener, can opener and ruler. It isn't that easy to use, but when all else fails it is there
  • A few band-aids in the cover for the credit card sized tool
  • A stainless steel pen given to me by my former boss (Not pictured because it hid in my pocket and I was feeling lazy)
I work in IT and can push the office dress code, but I try not too push too far, so I have to keep things to a minimum. We are forbidden firearms where I work, and I do not own one. I, also, far prefer knives and blunt instruments for weapons. (I'm trained, as in have fought in tournaments, in the use of swords, daggers, knives, and such). If I am going hiking/camping I tend to carry a fair amount more but that isn't exactly everyday, now is it?
