HALO seals in my personal experience are also the only kind proven to stick even to hairy, bloody, fluid and otherwise fucked up surfaces without fail.


It's why I carry the HALO, and only the HALO. Been looking into picking up a few of the new vented HALO seals as well.

In my force, we have in a sealed evidence bag in each car, a first aid kit with large island dressings (massive band aids) that are meant for post operative use. We're instructed to snip them in half and use as three sided chest seals. About as sticky as a post-it note too.


An excellent pinch and make do idea. Not so great as plan A.

I e been looking for a TCCC class for civilians and have found little close to my area. I live in NW Louisiana. I've read through the training stuff available online. Seems pretty straight forward. Thanks
