Hi there,

I need eyeglass prescription ... but I want to keep the glasses a bit tactical looking (and rugged of course).

I have a small head (56cm/22'). It is even a challenge to find sun glasses for my head size ... but quiet discreet tactical looking glasses for every day carry ... I need suggests from professionals ;-)

It should not be too noticeable, that everyone is always stairing at me).

Yeah yeah ... I want it tactical looking because I'm peacocky ... you got me :-)

I don't have a price limit YET.

I don't know, if that kind of glasses exists ... but I hope for the best!

Have a great day!

But which models are for smaller heads?

It does not have to be prescription glasses. I will get custom glasses for the frame.

What matters for me is the look and the rugged build.

Aluminum Eyewear. You also get a discount if you're a Crew Leader. Also 15% off if it's your first purchase.

I see .. asian fit should work with me. But the model range from Oakley is quiet limited.

Asian fit and a discreet look ould be perfect.

Other manufacture (than Oakley) exist?

Aluminium eyewear does not have discreet (or didn't I find them?) models.

I am an Oakley fan, but Smith Optics is another company to look at. They make a solid product and they have some different size offerings. Here is one example from their website, but I'm sure if you look around you will find more.

I've worn prescription Oakley's for about 5 years now, I have nothing but good things to say. Aside from style their optical quality is pretty good as well.

Thanks for the input!

I check out Tifosi.

They have nice models. But I have to check, if they are discreet enough to wear it every day in every situation.

These models look nice:

Tyrant 2.0

I found a dealer in Germany (where I live). But they only have reading (+) prescription for those models .. but I have (-) ... I call them tomorrow. Otherwise, if I take one of the models, I have to get custom glasses for the model.

Any other brand?

I already have a ESS Recon. But the earpieces hurt.

All other models are too big for my head size.

So ESS is not the way to go (for me).

I'm going to add another fan of Oakley prescriptions. Had them for years. Now that they offer the Standard Issue discount to veterans they got even better.

I prefer oakley because I have a US Standard Issue acct. I have a small head as well, and I've had success with their Twenty and Flack Jacket models.
