I did one through a company called Poseidon I believe.  Did it while I was at Camp Lejeune.  Was a great course, it has changed how I drive on a daily basis now a days as well.  Learned some great techniques and just how much a vehicle can take.

Took CEVO instead (the equivalent in my area). Easy class.

I took one at Camp Pendleton about 20 yrs ago, well almost 20. I still use it as a civ and my driving is much safer. Remember it is a 3D world.

I take one every year for the Fire Dept, the driving section is geared more towards the big rigs, (engine, ambulance, Ladder trucks), we do drive the course in the smaller vehicles too (suburban, pickups)  tho.  The classroom session is relevant to any vehicle.  It covers blind spots, stopping distance, laws, pre & post trip inspections, defensive driving.  It has spilled over to my off duty time and I notice myself driving different, safer after the class.
