"Doc" here! Met Bryan through his wonderful site then realized we knew each other on another forum, met him and his lovely wife at SHOT 2010 and we are collaborating on a Pistol Course in a few weeks time in TXI'm former Navy as my profile says so you can grab all the details there, I'm married and and have a dog, live in FL, can't wait for the elections this year /wp-content/forum-smileys/sf_headbang.gif and hope to see some decent changes. I like to read, and I'm a Student for life so always looking to learn something new which is what I like about this site. From my Recon days I like to consider myself a "Jack" of all trades, therefore I know at least a little about a whole lot of stuff, including some nefarious skills (Something else I like about this site). Looking forward to learning and maybe passing on some knowledge as well./wp-content/forum-smileys/anim_beer.gif P.S. We need some more smilies, a R.I.P., a salute, and a middle finger would probably get us on the right track /wp-content/forum-smileys/smiley_evilGrin.gifand the Math to save rocks but if we have Marines on here they could file discrimination charges /wp-content/forum-smileys/24.gif

Howdy!  My name is Jason and I live in North Texas.  I'm a "civi" who is also a father of two, gun advocate, shooter, huge bowhunter, brewer, reloader, welding hobbiest, and currently selling capital equipment for anatomical pathology and cancer research to keep the lights on.  I found ITS Tactical on youtube when I could not for the life of me remember how to tie a lanyard knot and my old trusty Boy Scout handbook had so much water damage that I had to seek alternative sources.  Since discorvering the site I've become big fans and supporters of the Survival Podcast, the Handgun Podcast,  the Gun Dudes (minus Carl :)), Gunfightercast and others.  I'm looking forward to the community here and learning from the experiences of others.  I'm also really excited about Doc's pistol course later in the month.

Greetings!  I'm Tyler, a USAF helicopter pilot stationed in MD (where in Maryland are you, 3646/Joshua?) though currently TDY to Disneysand aka A-Stan flying Mi-17s with the Afghans.  I'll be PCSing to Florida when I return so Loki/JP, I'll be sure to look you up as we'll be right in the same alley.I love the outdoors and all that comes with it (camping, hiking, backpacking, etc), weaponry, church activities, history, games of all kinds (card, board, video, etc) and most of all my family of 5.1 (another on the way in OCT).  I stumbled on this sight because of a Google search on how to escape zip ties and haven't looked back.  I'm also a fan of the Survival Podcast as well as SurvivalBlog, Sipsey Street Irregulas, OathKeepers, etc. While my interest in things seems to border on the limitless, I find that I have very shallow knowledge in many things and desire to learn as much as I can in the areas all of you specialize in as we zipper-suited-sun-gods aren't exactly taught the rough-and-tumble ground skills that I think are essential to my survival (I'm only 50 feet away from being an infantryman in some nasty Indian country).  I look forward to getting to know all of you as KNOWLEDGE is the first and most important part of life.Blue Skies.

Hi Guys - My name is Blake and I am the general manager of ReactGear an online tactical gear store. I love the outdoors, shooting, martial arts, hiking, camping, canoeing, climbing etc. I can't remember exactly how I found ITS but I have been addicted ever since. I am a big geardo as you might imagine and am always trying to figure out new uses for stuff and how far I can push the limits of each piece. I am always reading and learning and spend most of free time at the range, gym, dojo, trail or climbing wall.

Looks like I'm the ITS resident spoiler..the GIRL.  Live in Columbus, OH, work for a private security/physical and infrastructure protection firm doing all sorts of fun things, but focusing on technical writing for contracts and risk/threat assessments.  I'm nearly through my Masters degree program, and in May I'll have my MS in Security Administration. Found ITS through a video of J-turns and bootlegs, been hooked ever since.  I'm a fan of tactical driving (get in, sit down, hold on, shut up!), weapons (working on customizing a Springfield 1911 with Kimber and Wilson guts), aviation and military history...and of course GEAR! Looking forward to learning, testing stuff, reading stuff, and some general debauchery now and then/wp-content/forum-smileys/anim_moon.gif~LN71

Hey Brothers and SisterMy name is Mark,  I am currently in Afghanistan working on a contract in support of OEF.  I am coming up to the end of my second year (April) upon which I will be returning to NC.  Unfortunately I have never been able to serve due to me pretty much destroying my knees when I was younger.  I am originally from England and wanted to be a Royal Marines Commando.  So instead I became a heavy truck mechanic, and the rest is history. I run workshops in Afghanistan suporting the Afghan National Police, I have worked in Kabul, Jalalabad, Herat, Kandahar, Farah and Ghazni.  I have met some awesome individuals in the Military while I have been over here,  most of the Mentors I have dealt with have been a credit to their Service.I have always been interested in the outdoors, and weaponry and Vikings.  I found ITS through Soldier Systems Daily website,  and have been a devoted follower ever since.  Keep doing what you do ITS crew.No matter where you are Stay Safe and Keep Yer Head Down.  /wp-content/forum-smileys/sf_headbang.gif

Hello! My name is Justin, and I found out about ITS on the Mil-Spec Monkey website.I did volunteer work with various LE agencies throughout high school, then Volunteer EMS/Rescue. I also did EMS Transport for awhile and worked as a Security Officer for a security consultant. Not that it has anything to do with ITS, but I also spent some time working at Walt Disney World on their Monorail system. Now I'm working as a Compliance Officer for our Felony D.U.I. court.I don't really call anyplace home, as I've lived all across the states. . . I'd list my hobbies, but this is already long enough.I'm glad to be a part of this!

Hi everyone, my name is John.  I specialize in long walks on the beach and getting caught in the rain…………..In addition to this I live in Cincy and have been an EOD tech for about 14 years.  Primarily involved in training now,  I still (as I have always) harbor a love of shooting guns, blowing shit up and breaking other peoples stuff.  /wp-content/forum-smileys/smiley_evilGrin.gif

Greetings.  It's Tommy.  Current location is Connecticut where I'm a member of the SEREPICK team.  I was immediately hooked on ITS TACTICAL from the first time I hit the site.  Its apparent this group has attracted some of the most elite and I jumped on the opportunity to be a plank member the minute I saw the tweet.  Glad to be involved and I look forward to talking gear and getting to know everyone./wp-content/uploads/2010/01/PlankOwnerSignature.png

Another Texan here from around the Houston area.  Former Navy CT, former EMT, current government employee, insatiable geardo.  My job with the DOE has me supporting both SOCOM and federal LEO-types, so I do a fair amount of CONUS traveling, especially to the the Little Creek, VA area this time of year.  I'm one of those guys who can never spend enough time outdoors in the backcountry with my gear!  Beyond the gear and backcountry, I'm especially interested in intelligence (I'm 2 courses away from completing my MA in Intelligence with a concentration on Information Warfare).  I may not be boots on the door, but I take great pride in knowing that I help direct the boots to the right door at the right time to ruin some poor bastard's wee-early morning hours!
