Alright guys, so the rules say multiple entries are allowed and I figures that depending on the day and what I am doing my on body EDC changes. So I spent some time today doing a bit of a photo shoot with the different setups I cary depending on the order of the day.

Submission 1:

This is what would be my nearly ideal EDC for every day, unfortunately, it is far too often non-practical for me to carry a full size sidearm in an OWB holster.

ruzoMTU.jpg?1

  • ITS EDC Med Kit Pouch containing a SOFT-TW in the ITS flat fold storage method. Admittedly, though I always leave home with an IFAK I am not the best about keeping med gear on my person, but I am making a conscious effort as of late to do that.
  • Wallet, black leather, nothing special and needing replacement. I do not keep any high speed kit in my wallet, just normal wallet items.
  • ITS Memorial Bracelet
  • G17 Mag, held in a Safariland model 123 horizontal magazine holder (Mag is partially drawn out in the pic to show it.)
  • Glock 17 Gen 4 w/ Streamlight TLR-1s WML, held in an OWB holster made by High Desert Custom Kydex
  • Oakley SI Flack Jacket XLJ with OO Black Iridium polarized lenses
  • Emerson Mini Commander w/ combo blade, black
  • Key to my truck
  • iPhone 5 in Magpul case
  • Fisher M4B Space Pen... I love this pen, I had one for about 5 or 6 years and sadly lost it, so I just replaced it with a new one.
  • Surfire E2D Defender light... soon to be replaced...
  • Columbia Basecamp watch, black/black/negative style... sadly I do not believe this particular style is any longer available which is a bummer, but I bought two so I would have a spare when I kill this one.

I love the TLR-1s. I use the exact weaponlight on my Glock 17 for night time fun, the strobe is an awesome feature. If an intruder enters my home at night, I can just kick on some house music, and the baddy will experience the absolute worst rave of their life. ;)

Here is my pocket inventory.

From the upper left and working clockwise:

  • aluminum wallet (no reading my cards)

  • Deck of cards ( always)

  • Pepper Spray

  • Dual band Ham radio

  • keys

  • iPhone

  • notebook with Cross pencil (always have a metal body pen, just in case. Has so many uses)

  • Pocket Multi-Tool (can opener, knife edge, screwdriver, ruler, cap opener 4 position wrench, butterfly wrench, saw blade)

  • J5 Tactical flash light (blows away every flashlight I have ever seen, get one!)

  • Leatherman Multi-tool

  • Lockpicks in a metal cigar tube

  • Money clip (sometimes even with money) :)

  • Armor of God coin

  • Spring assisted knife with windshield breaker and seat belt cutter

  • Pocket telescope/microscope

  • Business card lockpicks

  • Firestarter

  • Security Officer badge

Really not that much to carry. Some in pockets and some on the belt. I have extra pockets sewn into almost all my jackets. I got the idea as a performing magician and figured why not turn it to survival purposes. You can go to any tailor or seamstress, just about any, and tell them what you want for pockets. Amazing what you can do with this.

Fun contest. It is neat to see what others carry as well.

All for now,

Kerry

This is most of my EDC.

Boots have 4.5ft paracord each as laces.

I carry a climbers chalk bag with carabiner  (when I climb, everything has to be tied or secured to my person) that holds:

my wallet,

matches,

P-38,

micro-level,

drill bit,

safety pins,

lip balm,

water key,

lighter,

loose change,

Tea Tree toothpicks,

allen key

USB/Wall socket icharger block

I'm a mom of two, one kid is 8mos, there is usually a baby toy somewhere in my kit, this time its a small plastic hen

Electrical tape rides clipped to the carabiner

Keys clip into the carabiner

I wear a hand made  leather apron with a large pocket up front, doubles as a ground cover to sit on

Phone rides there

Charging cable

CRKT folding knife

Sharpie pen

Micro-pencil

Leatherman Wave with leather case

Nite-ize flashlight holder with NEBO LED light, and 2 batteries

Bandana,

Patrol Cap

Grand-dads leather belt

Hair clips and elastic

150lb rated shackle is an earring

Stainless steel Cahinmaille bracelet

Rubber "O" ring and welded 1/8"nut ring are engagement and wedding band.

My husband engraves "Fuck Off" onto all of my tools so that there is no question of ownership.

Missing from gear today: All weather notebook that rides in apron pocket, thumbtacks usually ride in the sides of the boot heels.

I tried to get a little artistic with this photo sitting the items on my diving supervisor's case and using a flash to bring up the SOLAS tape.

Black flexfit cap

Casio G-shock GA-100 (with type one paracord turkshead to stop the excess strap coming out)

Gerber Dime Micro

CRKT M-21 'BigDog" (anyone know of anything really discreet but functional? people get a little antsy in Australia when they see a folding knife in someone's pocket.)

J.Burrows black note book

Ultra lightweight pen (pen cartridge with medical tape for purchase. will be replacing this with a space pen cartridge soon)

Brown leather BillaBong wallet

FourSevens Mini ML

keys (bare minimum) with paracord fob and SwissTec Utilikey

normally in various places within my wallet are:

Type I paracord/dummy cord in an ocean plait mat. (approximately seven feet of cord in a mat with four passes, it does not deploy rapidly but allows it to lay flatter in the coin section of my wallet.)

Starlight mini chemstick (normally for fishing rod tips, these are great for marking things at night or providing just enough light to see / signal with.)

Fingernail tool (not visible but one edge has been shapened.)

Ten feet of dental floss (for speedy repairs and pesky pieces of chicken or popcorn.)

Not shown but also in my wallet are a fresnel lens and two small individual wet wipes.

Not shown:

Iphone 4S in Grittith case

Custom Black and Coyote snakeknot paracord bracelet, approx. 2 and a half feet each colour, five feet total.

'What's in your pocket ...?'

My girlfriend calls this my tool belt, or similarly my Go-Go-Gadget belt.  Maybe it's excessive, who knows.  I've been carrying most of it for years though, so I hardly notice it:

  • Original SOE EDC Belt with velcro lining
  • White Hat Holsters IWB, sporting Crossbreed V-Clips
  • G19
  • Custom kydex phone holster by Raven Concealment
  • iPhone 5 in a Lifeproof Nuud case

  • Oakley Polarized Half Jacket 2.0

  • Keys on climbing 'dog bone', rings were pilfered from expended training grenades to thwart deformation

  • Random pen, usually worn in the collar, currently Pilot G-2

Front Right pocket:

  • Benchmade Griptilian Folder, partially serrated
  • Fenix PD20 flashlight (Presently discontinued, replaced by the PD22)
  • Zippo Lighter

Right Rear Pocket:

  • Good old fashioned leather bi-fold wallet, origins unknown

Left Rear Pocket:

  • Handkerchief
  • Notepad
  • Spare G17 mag (waiting on an IWB single mag holster from PHLster)

Front Left Pocket:

  • Carmex
  • Eye Drops
  • Loose Change

These are kept on a Maxpedition Keyper

  • Surefire 6PX LED w/ The Raven Concealment Pocket Clip
  • Cold Steel Recon this is the knife kept razor sharp and used for self defense only
  • CRKT Drifter this is my workhorse knife!
  • Nokia Lumia 1520
  • Original S.O.E Wallet
  • Glock 21 G4 with a Streamlight TLR-1 attached
  • Spare Mags
  • ITS Tactical EDC Trauma Kit
  • Suunto Core
  • Paracord bracelet (i normally wear a thicker one that is "quick release" during the weekends but I actually had to use it last weekend and havent had the chance to retie it, the one shown here is the one i wear mostly due to it being a little office friendly)
  • Raven Concealment Holster with the wing option and C clips from comp-tac I wear this IWB - I'm still wanting to replace with a High Threat Concealment rig i've just not done it yet.

Couple items not pictured:
