Jersey you missed out, everone who attended the course got a brand new truck, a bar of gold, 30 min alone with Kate Upton, and a sweet Granite Firearms Training patch. Also, the shooting was good.

Don't sweat it Jerry, it wasn't that good.  Kate couldn't make it.

Dirty, could I buy a GFT patch though? In all seriousness.

I can't feel left out more than I already do, LOL

I'll pay shipping obviously.

I would like to say, I was truly honored to have guys from ITS come out.  I have to give a huge nod to Mangeface coming out.  That was pretty awesome.  I enjoyed the day on so many levels.  It was great to meet some of you guys face to face.  I know Jersey you got caught up with life.  But hey man, good luck, get it done!

I also need to give a lot of credit to Adam.  He handled a lot of the coordinating and as always, helps me keep my sanity.  Looking forward to next one for sure.

Your XO (Davis) apparently already had the issue taken care of!

And no worries, there will be much butthurt spread behind enemy lines with that patch.

What's sad is I bet there was maybe 2 people that could run an AR faster and better than I could run my AK. But definitely a great class. I would do it all over again.

Also like to point DirtyTrigger popped his AK cherry when I came out. Brother, you're spoiled. Next AK you shoot may swing up and pop you in the mouth cause you'll be thinking of the lack of recoil mine has.

Well, I think it was the first I ran a -74. My first rifle, (Non-.22) was a SKS.  Ive run several AK-47's.  They were better than the SKS. Always reminded me of driving a 1 ton pick up truck with an empty bed.  Rough.   The 47's have always been bit different.  I have noticed, at least it seems to be, a little bit of work to an AK and they will run smoother.....    Now that 74 of yours....  That was nice. Thank you for letting me ride her.

That was the first time however that I got to shoot an AK and it was pretty awesome, I must admit that it makes me want one even more now. That trigger reset took me a second to get use to but it was for sure a pretty awesome weapon so thanks Mange for letting me run a few rounds through her.

Also, thank you Spence for letting me put a few rounds through your suppressed 1911. That is one badass setup right there!

Second that. Not a huge 1911 fan, but I won't pass up the opportunity to squeeze off rounds from any firearm that's suppressed.

It was pretty fun, and I'm all about spreading the quiet. Who knows, some day my 1911 will look as nice as it runs. Awesome pictures. We look OAF.
