Since xmas, thanks honey, I carry a LedLenser P2BM. With its MOLLEE sheat, it is exactly the same height as my multitools. It runs out of a single AAA, so I don't have to hold a third type of battery in my bag. The power switch allow you on/off/pressure on.

It comes with: Pocket clip, key ring attachment, lanyard and MOLLEE sheat in a nice little box.

Fenix PD 35 & Fenix PD 22. I have several Surefire & Streamlights as well. But I prefer the Fenix lights over them all.

Have you guys ever heard of Lumaforce? I've been selling them at work for about 3 years.  I have quite a few of them and love them.  The ones I recommend are the Tac5 and the LF1Aggressor. These I typically have daily on me.  They run on either 1 CR123 or 2 CR123s respectively. I am not affiliated with them and not trying to sell them here.  But check them out. The Tac5 runs about $50-$60 and is 230 lumens with hi/med/low/strobe/and lumens adjustable. The LF1 Aggressor is on/off momentary bump on 550 lumens and runs about $60-$70.  Great company and they stand behind their product.

Rebranded chinese lights. Sorry to spoli it for you.

The LF1 is a rebranded Solarforce L2N

The LF900 and KEY3 I have seen before but i do not care to search their lineage

The Tac5 seems a rebranded Favorlight

price is about double what one would pay for the originals

Streamlight PT1L programmed to high/low is the EDC.  I swap out depending on situation but this one fits for the most common daily drudgery and the price is nice.

I roll with a Surefire E2L Outdoorsman. I never actually bought this one though, I found it on a C-130 doing a postflight and no one came and asked for it afterwards. So it found its way into my rotation.

Thanks for the heads up flashlightsolutions.  I wasn't the one that initially brought them in but I have bought a few.  That whole employee discount makes it easy.  Its funny you brought that to my attention,  I was given one of these lights a few years back and it actually came with a solarforce sheath.  I just didn't know what solarforce was to catch it.  It  bothers me that they are knockoffs, but the have been a good seller for us and I hate to drop them due to the number we have sold. They have also stood behind the couple of issues we've had with no questions asked, and I like to be able to take care of my customers after the sale as well.

Just to be Clear....

Obviously the Lumaforce are rebranded lights, as good as the originals.

Solarforces were based on the GP copies of the Surefie 6P.

But now I think their bodies have gone beyond Surefire in various ways.

I have caought the Solarforce bug and have a shoebox of flashlights and parts

Shameless self-promotion, my latest Solarforce mod (huge Solarforceflashlightporn thread)

Solarforce dropins are decent

I wouldn't drop them -with the condition I knew what ) was selling and told my clients that-.

In fact i have suggested Solarforce to a friend that runs an outdoor shop.

I've replaced my trusty Surefire 6P.  Got myself a 600 lumen Streamlight Protac HL.  Reprogrammed it to high only.  Not a fan of strobing handhelds.

I also ordered a Streamlight Protac HL USB which is 850 lumen, rechargeable, AND will accept 123's.  It's going to replace my duty light whenever it comes in.

Recently picked up a Thrunite T20. My L10C broke and I lost my Preon P1. While I wait for the L10C replacement to arrive, I got this one. Nice light, and the memory for which mode it was in last is really nice.

Currently, i have been looking at getting a flashlight for EDC, i have only looked thus far heavily at the Surefire 6PX, seeing as it has the "just in case" strike bezel and it is fairly lightweight. Also, i can go down to my local WalMart and buy it so i will be able to eliminate the shipping and online aspect, but I will happily get one on the internet if i need to. However since i am set on this one i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me, to help broaden my narrow search. Any help and suggestions would be very appreciated!

Alex

I carry the Streamlight ProTac 1L. About 2.5" long, high, strobe and low outputs and cost about $50. Excellent EDC flashlight.

I have a couple of E2Ds, they're good lights, but a little large for EDC on my personal preference.

I'm still loyal to maglite. My current edc is a double a mag with an after market led drop in And glass break on each end. I've had the thing for since i was in junior high or high school.
It kicks out enough light at 200 lumen to get most jobs done. It is survived being an EDC for longer than i thought it would. It's been dunked and dropped and used to smash. Keeps on shining.
I've also whipped blaze orange cordage onto the handle for when i work at heights or want to ensure i don't drop it.
I keep a fennix in my medical grab bag as well.

I've been carrying a Surefire E2D Ultra LED, goes nicely in the same pocket as my wallet and QC sponge.

Second that.  I have a few little Maratac AAAs in various kits here and there.  Great little light.  Not tactical or EDC for me, but very functional kind of like the discontinued (but awesome) Petzle e-Lite with the proper headband.
