What do you think of it jack?

From a wholistic standpoint, it's interesting.  By itself, just this box is a useful collection of kit for those who have nothing to start from.  I have most of these items already, so I'm not blown away, but you could stick this box in its entirety in your car and increase your survival ability an order of magnitude.  Even the packaging material can be used as tinder to start a fire with your firesteel.  I really like the little flashlight and it will become a part of my EDC kit.  I already have an Eat'n'tool (the guys in my shop call it my Ranger spoon) and I really like it, I eat my oatmeal every morning with it.  The compass, well, I think it's meh.  It worth something in a pinch, but I'll stick with my mil-spec lensatic.

All in all, not bad.  Maybe not the best bang for your buck, but I'm intrigued enough to stick with it for a few more months.

While I breathe I shall defend.

Same here its a good concept and I'm curious to see what comes next. Like you the compass is meh to me I also have a Milspec compass that I have had for years. But for those who don't know what to look for its a good starter.I have incorporated most of the items in my edc. With the exception of the compass the manual and one of the can openers.

Cool video. I'm guessing that they don't provide instructions with any of it? I too, have never seen a plunger striker quite like that. But thanks for the video reviews.

Now go clean your stove.

This is interesting. I'm very particular about the gear that I invest in/acquire, so I have been very hesitant to try this box out. I do subscribe to Kinderbox, which isn't quite the same but variety nontheless.

BattlBox is a great company/. A company that I work for supplies supplements to BattlBox should be coming up in the next box.

I'm thinking of buying into this, though getting it into Canada may prove too costly for the return on investment. Personally I think tacking on an extra 25 for shipping to Canada is a little excessive,  but that's me. Such is  the cost I'm going to go through the Fivesenenguy has posted. That will likely pull the trigger for me. Or convince me I could take the 75 or so a month and just blow it all  myself on custom picked gear and work into the ol budget.

But effort!
