Just finished converting my old incandescent surefire E2e to LED. Cree XP-L driven at 2.8A from a 16650 lithium cell for roughly a 900 lumen output.

Always worth upgrading to LED... what was the approximate cost with this upgrade?

It's about $15 in parts for the light itself.

I wanted rechargeable cells so that brought my total up to about $60 for parts, a pair of 16650s and a charger.

Man nice work! I have a couple old surefires I'd love to upgrade like that.

Any chance you could make a list of parts and places you got them from?

And maybe a step by step guide?? Haha

I can compile a list of the items I used. Maybe tonight if I have time.
Step by step guide is a little trickier since every light will be a little different. As you can see in one of my pictures I actually had to machine the head to accommodate the LED emitter and optic.
Could have been drilled or bored out I suppose but I didn't feel like waiting for a 20mm bit to get shipped and I don't have a boring bar set so I set it up on my mill instead.

I'm thinking of updating an old C2 Centurion I have laying around.

Also been looking at getting a rechargable stick for my P2ZX Fury.... That thing eats batteries like there is no tomorrow! Any suggestions for that?

Generic Chinese driver. Price has gone up, was only like $4 when I got mine. Took weeks to get but was a good buy At the time.

C2 uses the P60 bulb right? There's a really nice LED drop in for that.

Awesome! And I thought I was cool with a deep concealment clip for my surefire backup!
