I just picked up an incan surefire E2E executive elite and an L1 lumamax for almost nothing, with a view to upgrading them to high output.

I know it's a lot harder to find drop ins for anything other than p60 but any suggestions?

Thanks AaronK, I was looking for that. Did you need much in the way of tools? I've not done anything similar before so was looking for a drop in solution, can't solder or machine.

Unfortunately I needed to do both those. The reflector is part of the head not a separate part so it needs to be machined out to accommodate the LED optic.

TNVC has a replacement head but it's somewhere around $70

also check candlepowerforums for more options. there is a limited run for replacement LED bulbs/modules.

Also have a look at Lumens Factory LED heabs for the E-series lights. Far better than the generic chinese, TNVC rebrands.
