Sooo, I'm thinking on "laying my cash down" on one. I know the "brand" is solid, it's now just a matter of the sizing? So I'm about a 42" waist these days, and I'm wondering sans the "sizing chart" what real end users figured out? I'm was reading some comments from another forum by a former Arc'teryx "SME" and his advice was to go "down" in size if you're on the border line or in the middle?. He also commented that on this type of belt you do want some gap between the ends? technical stuff eh? Let's hear from some "owners/operators" cause I know they are out there. BTW this is just to keep up my pants.

I'd have gone up a size, Otherwise the padding is in the wrong position in relation to your waist and the hard point.
