Hi,

i am looking for some tactical gloves:

Parameters:

- in selfdefence situation it should increase the "hit power" (maybe quartz sand?)
(there is a technical term for it, but i am from germany and couldnt find a good translation for it)

- I prefer natural materials (Leather: goat or rind, which one is better?)

- cut resistant

But it should be possible to "work" with them, like driving a car, get something small out of a bag without needing an hour for it :DD

Do you know a good product, maybe a  relative popular product so that i can buy it online in germany :)

Thanks for your help

I don't know about the punching thing, but you might check out turtle skin gloves. Is the brand, not made from turtles.

Also look into your local laws.  Weighted gloves can be illegal in some areas.

Those look cool, but damn they're expensive. I'd be afraid to get crazy, drug addict on them...

They're expensive, but when you're searching vehicles all the time with needles stashed everywhere, the peace of mind is worth it

SKD Pig Gloves, Bryan loves them, he talks about them in a Gear Tasting episode not that long ago

They are not weighted, but like mentioned likely illegal in most states

Fun fact: Possession is an instant felony in CA.

Possession of gloves = instant felony. Possession of marijuana = harmless.

Nah, its only harmless in certain situations in ca. Honestly, I think both should be legalized.

Isn't possession of a stolen firearm only a misdemeanor in CA now? So long as the gun is worth less than some arbitrary number...

Yeah, kinda. Less than $950, no other crimes committed, simple possession, non NFA, etc... Citable. Crazy, but true.

But the reality is that 99% of the stolen firearms are being possessed by restricted persons. Bang. Felony

BLUF: California Sucks

I actively avoid Cali, and also New York, Mass, and am desperately trying to get to Maine form CT, CT is run by the same moron mentality that ruins Cali and NY

It's a tad hard for me to avoid Ca (nobody calls it Cali anymore). But I'm pretty close to Nevada. In summer anyway.

Back to the OP question. Oakley carbon fiber gloves may work here. But they come with risk. First is how his local LE would view them. Second is the risk of injury to knuckles. We used to use them in the jail. Admin didn't care for it. But worse than that, I saw more broken knuckles when those were used in a defensive capacity. For protecting knuckles during cell extractions, they did well

Yeah, reinforced knuckles (esp the plastic types) arent there as an offensive measure, theyre desigbed to prevent scraping the crap out of your knuckles on something.

I'm in NY. I imagine weighted gloves of any kind are a felony in this state too with as many weapons laws as we have. Anyways, i go through Tac Gloves like candy. My hands are MASSIVE. I'm 6'4" and I cannot find tactical gloves big enough to fit me. I have tried Oakley and SDK and several others. Even Mechanix Gloves. But I just rip out the seams after a couple of months. I have even tried Youngstown gloves, but unfortunately they have nothing tactical that i have found and they have bright yellow on them that just stands out.  Does anyone have any ideas or companies that handle 3xl tactical gloves or larger?

Have you tried dying the yellow gloves with a bottle of black RIT?
