Here is my dilemma. I shoot my AR both eyes open with zero issue at all (scoped or RDS). For the life of me I struggle greatly shooting a handgun with both open. Any advice? Do I just need to practice more?

Thanks.

I don't know of any specific tricks other than practice. It seems natural to want to close one eye, and it takes repetition to train that out

With enough practice, you'll even start to shoot without blinking. I recently accomplished this without realizing it.

Keep it close. Under ten yards for now, and a LOT of dry fire. Practice your draw and keeping both eyes open to get some reps in. I'll admit, at anything past twenty five, and even at twenty five, I have to slightly close an eye to note my target in relation to my front sight before opening them both back up.
