FourSevens have posted on their facebook from Shot a photo of a product coming Q2 this year, it's 600 lumens and weapon mountable. Looks pretty cool:

Worlds smallest weapon light with 600 lumens. Also Bluetooth smart enabled for unlimited configurability.

Tiny smart devices join the foursevens smart lineup. Availability in Q2 10,000 lumen flashball. 600 lumen weapon light. Availability in Q2.

As a Four Sevens fan I'm intrigued. Operation looks clumsy though

And I'm sure the 5 minute battery life will be an issue... (just a guess based on size)

I'm a big fan of innovation. Especially for weapons. Smaller lighter weapon light would be awesome.

It needs three things:

1. Reliability proof
2. Battery life that's consistent
3. Support in the form of holsters

That last one is probably the hardest for new products to get. No one is going to retool and crank out holsters until there's a market.

Sure, we can get kydex stuff all day long. Great for non duty. But a lot of us are restricted in what holsters we can use. Even off duty.

This is cool enough I'd like to try it out though.

Interesting, but I think I'll stick with the surefire xc1 for the time being.

As Seen on: M4Carbine.net, GlockTalk, and NCGO.
