After going through two crap backpacks for my 5-year old, I'm done with China made kiddie garbage. I'm looking for a high quality, Western-made nylon pack in a kid's size that will last. I'm willing to pay premium prices. Anyone have any ideas?

GORUCK Bullet rucks. Both my kids have had them for two school years now. They'll last until they both graduate.

SwatDawg's suggestion is good, a lot more versatile than a kid's specific bag, and if they don't like it you can get your money back selling to a Goruck fanboy.

From what I understand, the Bullet is in the process of being redesigned to better utilize the ruck plates they sell. I believe the new Bullets will be available in the coming months.

maybe a necropost but just saw this. Check out the Goruck packs but another is CubCubsusa pack- IDK how good it is yet but just saw it the other day.
