Well guys i'm looking into another AR. I currently only have an AR-15 that has a BCM carbine length SOCOM barrel with a KAC RAS rail. Needless to say i've gotten to the point where i'd like a less heavier front end and more surface area for grip placement. I'm not looking to shave all these ounces with titanium parts, etc. I'm really just looking a possible weight reductions through a barrel and rail. Prefer Keymod or M-Lok. looking for a 14.5 inch barrel with a mid-lenght gas system. Appreciate the future input!

Thought about a cost saving measure and just buying a completed upper you can swap?

ELW barrel from BCM paired with a gen3 keymod ff from Midwest. I really like the balance of the ELW barrels, and they're quite light.
