Have any of you who carry tac pens been hassled by TSA in the airport?

If you stay with all metal but less tactical pens like Parker Jotters and Fisher Space Pens, they seem to not even notice they are special.

Also, have you ever been past TSA and not felt hassled for something? Just saying...

As of recently, I've been using the Schon Design pen. Saw a deal on it through Huckberry a couple weeks back. It's very simple and uses the Fisher space pen refill as the cartridge. No moving parts and gets quite small when not in use. Been in my front pocket since I got it.

I rock the Embassy Pen from CountyComm. It's not as expensive as some of the other tactical style pens that I've come across.

I just ordered $175 worth of gear from this site.. thanks for the reason to spend some cash! haha

I have a few. I usually carry a surefire tactical pen and a Rotring 600 ballpoint. I did get hassled by TSA about the surefire but not the Rotring 600. I think the Rotrings are discontinued but you can find them on ebay new and used. Paid about $79.00 for mine.

I haven't taken the leap towards tactical pens yet (mainly a price point issue) but absolutely love these pens... http://www.officemax...017938&ssp=true. They seem to hold up against everything I can throw at them.

I took a Boker bolt pen, and an Arch Angel on a plane last month. Not so much as a hiccup about them (my DE razor handle did throw them for a loop as they searched for a rifle cartridge they swore was in there). I put the Arch Angel one in my bag, and the Boker was placed inside the tray. Heck, according to the new rules, scissors, and any "tool" under 6" is allowed now.
