Anyone have any recommendations for slipjoint knives ?

I know Spyderco and SOG both have one. Buck, Case, and I think even CRKT makes them too. Or you could always go with a Swiss Army. The one caveat to slipjoints, they are usually small. Unless that's what you're looking for!

Thanks, I didn't think SOG made any but I guess I was proved wrong, lol. On the size note, I don't think we're allowed anything over 3 inches here (same as UK) so small is good.

LOL i hear ya.  I'd love to carry a fixed but it would be way to obnoxious looking unless i concealed it somehow.

I have really like the Benchmades if the SOG Trident was a tanto I would carry it more than I do. I do prefer assisted openers

Uniform carry is a Benchmade Mel Pardue auto (I think its the 9000) and a swiss multi tool. on my RAV I have a spyderco w/ wave tucked behind my admin pouch and a pair of EMT shears tucked behind a magpouch.    Im not a knife guy and I know cold steel has a shitty name but one of the hands down best knives I have ever owned is a cold steel prolite folder with drop point blade. /wp-content/forum-smileys/anim_beer.gif

I do change it up once in a while but my standard is a ZT 301 and a SOG Flash II.

I am currently running a Spyderco Military.  Great blade and definitely worth the money.

SOG Flash II for EDC nearly 5 years of daily abuse, and still kicking.  I give her a good sharpening about every 3 months or so, best damn knife I ever owned, and feather light too!

I have a Spartan Blades USA "Horkos" on my fighting load along with a SOG EOD multitool. Daily carry is an old school Colonial Knife Company paratrooper switchblade... not the gucciest, but it gets daily work done.

I'm a right handed Civie and this is my EDC as far as tools go.Sog Aegis in the left pocket. I wish I wouldn't have lost my Benchmade Griptilian. I  want to switch back…Zebra F-701 in the right pocket. Highly recommend this pen. It's cheap but bombproof. There is also a Mechanical Pencil model if you go for that.Looking for a multitool…
