A few months ago, I had the opportunity to visit the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. Hanging there amongst the honors bestowed to the giants of the Overlord Operation, was a plaque honoring the American Worker that brought a smile to my face.
I thought it appropriate this Labor Day to display the plaque in its entirety, so those that might not have a chance to see it in person could reflect on the past national effort to band our workforce together for the WWII Allied effort.
