We have some very exciting news to share with you guys today! To mark our recent milestone of 2,500 YouTube subscribers, we’ve teamed up with Revision Eyewear to bring you an awesome contest!
What we’re doing for the contest, is asking for a video response to our YouTube video you’ll find below. Of course you’ll need to first be a subscriber to our YouTube Channel, but your subscription and time is going to be well worth your effort.
Revision has generously put together three different prize packages worth more than $330 for us to give away to the best entries in three different categories. Most creative, funniest and most in need.
Contest Details
The contest officially starts today, and will run through August 31st, 2010. That gives you exactly two weeks to get your video response in to us to be judged. What we’re looking for is a short video, no more than a few minutes, simply telling us how you’re going to wear the Revision Eyewear that you win. It’s our way of saying thanks to Revision for sponsoring this contest and everything they’ve done for ITS.
This video does not have to be fancy, you can post a video shot from anything including your mobile phone. Again there are three categories we’ll be judging in. Most creative, funniest and most in need. We know there are plenty of you guys out there with YouTube Channels that haven’t developed any of your own original content, so this contest will hopefully change that.
Guidelines
- Be a subscriber to our YouTube Channel.
- Upload a short video response to our YouTube video below by 23:59 (central time) on August 31st, 2010 (see below for video response instructions).
- Video response title must include “Revision Eyewear” somewhere in it, so we’ll be able to quickly find all your video responses.
- Video response needs to include how you’re going to wear the Revision Eyewear that you win.
- Contest is open to everyone and includes free shipping to US and APO/FPO addresses, we’ll come up with some kind of discount for international shipping.
What is a Video Response?
A video response is simply a video upload facilitated through the comment section of our YouTube video. If you simply click on the embedded YouTube video below it will take you to the YouTube page for our video and you’ll notice the spot to leave a comment.
Once you click on the text field (like you’re typing a comment) a small link will appear to the right of the box that says “Attach a video.” Simply click that and you’ll go through the process to upload your video. You can also use this link to record a video directly from your web cam right to YouTube, so there’s no excuse why you can’t participate!
