The last few forum contests have involved checking out what's in your pockets but this time we want to see what's in your bag!

To enter, post your photo in this topic with a brief description of your bag and contents.
[See announcement post on main page.]

This contest will run for two months (March through April) with two winners selected from the entries. The winning photos will be posted on the homepage of ITS Tactical and each will receive a $25 gift certificate to the ITS Tactical store.

Information and Fine Print:
  • One submission per person. You're able to edit your post until the deadline but you must finalize your submission by April 30th.
  • Past forum photos are eligible though we encourage you to take a new photo and make it look really good. Get creative!
  • Your forum profile must include a photo. Whether it's actually you or in the case of OPSEC, at least something other than the default "no photo" image.
  • While officially this contest is for March and April, you are allowed to start posting now.
  • By posting your photo here in this thread, you agree to allow us to display it in a post on the itstactical.com homepage if you win.
Since staff members are not eligible for the contest, Bryan will kick things off with what's in his bag:

John-

That's a called a Grid-It http://www.cocooninn...ns.com/grid.php

I'm more curious as to what that black thing next to the Grid-It is? Looks like possibly a USB battery back-up. If so, I'm curious as to its brand, and performance. Been looking into getting one of those.

This is the bag and load-out that I use for work and school. I chose the 5.11 Rush Delivery bag for my primary laptop carry for its roomy size (fits up to a 17” laptop), the well-organized compartments, and the ultra-comfortable shoulder strap. The color had to be in Sandstone, like all my 5.11 bags.

EDC Laptop Bag Contents:
Cambridge notebook, HP Pavillion dm4 laptop, Scandisk 8GB USB Drive, Bose earbuds, car & house keys, Power Bars, Rite in the Rain notebook, Zebra F-301 gel pens, Fisher Space Pen, Sharpe pen & highlighter, Fenix LD20 Flashlight w/removable red lens, BIC lighter, Spyderco Paramilitary 2 folding knife, extra AAA batteries for flashlight in orange Tools Aviation Slim Line Battery Caddy, Leatherman Charge multitool, tissues, space blanket, Wet Ones sanitary wipes, homemade first aid kit, Kindle Fire, Starbuck’s travel mug.

This is my 1st response med bag. I work as a first response medic for the local ambulance and search and rescue team. It's a pretty basic trauma bag. C collar, suction, advanced airways, Bag valve mask, IV stat pack, splits, bandages, quick clot, and other needs to treat major trauma in the field. This bag stays in my personal response Tahoe where I also have, back boards, stokes basket, AED, O2 bag, as well as climbing gear, landing zone flags, and just in case the brown stuff hits the spinning thing, a small selection of fire arms.Attached File  IMAG0388.jpg   93.27KB   33 downloads

This is a bag I made for myself, the Messenge’mups. (And this is more that I usually carry in it on an ordinary day, but it’s what was in it the day I opted to dump it out to photograph it all.)

The bag itself from a few different angles.

(While most of this is stuff in the bag itself, a few of the things pictured here are things that I carry on my belt or in my pockets. {noted} )

I'm currently stationed over in Bahrain, where we get plenty of civil unrest/riots, so my bag is a bit more geared for urban E&E, within the constraints of the local laws here. Instead of a dedicated bag, I have three pouches and one or two loose items that can be moved between my work bag (5.11 Triab 18) and a normal North Face backpack I wear out in town to be a bit less obvious.

1. Easy Acc 12,000 mah external battery (keeps items running for days)
2. Jetbeam Raptor RRT-2 Raptor Flashlight
3. Maxpedition M-1 Waistpack (Holds all other 3 numbered items)
3a. Oral I.V. Ampoules
3b. 2x Ultrafire 18650 flashlight batteries
3c. Approx 50 ft Gorilla Tape
3d. Bic Lighter
3e. 2x QuikClot Silver
4. Shemagh (Sun protection/improvised cover if caught in riots/medical use. What can't they do?)
5. 5.11 Burner Half Frame Sunglasses
6. 2 ea. red, green, blue Cyalume Chemlights (on #7)
7. Maxpedition Large TacTile Pouch
7a. Electrical Tape
7b. Lens cleaner/anti-fog treatment in microfiber bag
7c. high heat beanie
7d. Peltor Headlamp
7e. King Size Sharpie (If you can't handle a marking job with that, you're in trouble)
7f. 50 ft. 550 paracord
7g. Spec Ops brand Recon Wrap (generally useful, extra head covering for a friend if needed)
8. Leatherman MUT
9. SOG AutoClip (the blade I abuse regularly, two is one)
10. Spyderco Endura (my main blade)
11. Rite in Rain notepad, case, and 2x space pens

8-11 are technically carried in my pockets, but felt I'd toss them up since they're part of what I carry everywhere.
