Oh yeah one thing you should do is fill it with Twinkies man...

I would never disrespect a twinkie like that.

My first AK was a WASR so I did strip it down and clean because I could see a few metal and wood shavings in the receiver. Probably would not of hurt it to shoot it like it was but for my personal satisfaction I cleaned it.

Magpul has good furniture, been using it since it came out and am very pleased. I run a Saiga chambered in 223 have it for 8 plus years. 2 lb trigger, Coyote duracoat. Many many rounds and not one single issue. ALG has come out with a new trigger that I have heard great things about. Reliability. But of course every one will have their own opinion, to each his own.

I'm a large advocate of NOT like Magpul's furniture for the AK. Their grip is nice, but I don't like their MOE line. And that goes for any platform. The Zhukov had potential, but what kills it is that it folds over the safety. Yeah, it's great for vehicle carry, but you can find other stocks that fold and do not interfere with the manipulation of the safety.

The ALG trigger is amazing. I have one in my rifle. The trigger pull is great, light and no creep like you get in a lot of AK triggers.

I dont have the stock, but do have the fore-end. Good to hear about the trigger, might look into purchasing one soon.

45 days is a minor necropost infraction in my eyes. But getting the mod to chime in always helps your case ;)

Haha, I'm a little more lenient on open discussion threads. It's the "Person A asks a question, Person B answers it, and 4 years later Person C chimes in" scenarios that annoy me (and that scenario actually happened here on this forum).

Yeah... I'm usually not all that concerned until the 6 months to a year mark.
