I got an email from him a week or so ago with the details, I'm totally sold on it, especially as a replacement for my hydration carrier that I've been postponing.

When I got the email I thought "meh." It's kind of a bland pack. However, as I look at it in more detail this pack reminds me of baby wipes. It isn't exciting, it isn't flashy, it isn't even necessary, but once you use it you'll never want to be without it. Also like a head lamp, it doesn't need to have all sorts of whiz bang features, it just does what it does and it does so incredibly well.

I wish I had one in Afghanistan.

Sort of the general impression I get with a lot of his products. It seems like when he does something he thinks it through well he doesn't release 15 packs just one that he spent a lot of time distilling down and refining.

For some reason the link isn't working for me.

Me neither. You on a smart phone? Mine seems to be adding something that kills the link. Not always, and not just here.

At any rate, the pack is featured on the home page of his website.

Nice, so it can mount directly to olate carriers? I'm liking it.

I've got mine. It's a well built piece of kit. I haven't had a spare minute to try and mount it on my carrier, but it snaps to the D3 chest rig very naturally and comfortably.

I have put it in the shopping cart no less than 3 times... I really want this pack, but I'm concerned that the 1 liter bladder size that it accepts is just too small.

Evan, since you are hands-on with this pack will it fit more than a 1 liter bladder or is that maxing it out?
