I have a new EDC blade now by the way. It's a Benchmade Mini Griptilian and I absolutely love it. It's not as thin as my old Kershaw Leek but I love the quality and the blade (modified sheeps foot). I'll try and take some decent pics to upload.

Benchmade's are awesome, on a sidenote should be getting a Spyderco Persistance soon. I've heard good things about it.

Just picked up a CRK Umnumzaan. It is really the best knife I own. But I like my Spyderco Para 2 a lot also.

I carry a Boker Automat Kalashnikov 09 as a Folder and for my Fixed blade I always have my Mantis MF-4HC Chaos 1.    I have had them both for at least a year and they have proven very dependable and rugged.Posted Image" alt="" width="400" height="349" />

Here's three of my EDC folders.<img src="/forum/1st-line-gear/whats-your-edc-knife/page-3/Posted Image" alt="" width="799" height="570" />" alt="Posted Image" alt="" width="799" height="570" />" /> Top to Bottom:Waved EKI CQC-8. One of Ernie's best designs. It's curved blade geometry cuts three ways…Long, deep and continuously. And the pronounced finger guard keep my digits safe. A good friend of mine made the sculpted G10 scales which are similar to the custom 8's of yore. Fits the hand. The blade was just reground by another custom knifemaker. The EKI M-Wave is a great workhorse. Comes in Plain Edge, 60/40 serrations or 'fully' serrated. I opted for the fully serrated blade to make shorter work of cutting line. The M-Wave has a much higher Wave feature so it WANTS to open…In fact you have to be deliberate about removing it from your pocket if you don't want the wave to engage your pocket. The ergonomics are excellent and I'm a big fan of the pronounced finger guard. I've taken it diving so it's showing a little corrosion. In need of a little phosphoric acid and once-over with a Marine Tuf-Cloth.Kershaw Shallot. Damascus Blade. This knife's thin width makes for unobtrusive carry. The speed assist opening is fun and the factory edge is exceptionally sharp and long lasting…The trade off is that it's a bit prone to corrosion in humid environments…Then again so are ATS-34 and CM154 blades I've owned (above) so it's not so different.

I carry a Victorinox Cadet and a Kershaw Leek (man, I LOVE this knife!) at all times. When my Maxpedition is with me, I've also got my Leatherman Wave.

All black, half serrated SOG trident. Extremely fast and lightweight for a knife its size. No complaints at all. Great for everyday use and makes a perfect knife for self-defense.

+1 on Emerson. I've got the mini commander. Before that I carried one of the Ken Onion Kershaws. I still have the Kershaw, but the Emerson has become my go to carry knife. I'm thinking of buying a 2nd knife and converting it to left hand. When I pocket carry (unless its with cargo or scottevest pants) I don't have a good place to keep this one on my right side.

I almost always have my Clinch Pick with me.  My other go to knife is an Emerson Mini-Commander.  Gotta love the wave feature on the Emerson!

I just picked up the Hogue/Elishewitz 4" Auto opener EX-01 same as below except has a black blade. I've had it for a couple days, but I cant say enough about the quality of this knife. Build quality is flawless, the blade is factory polished edge (you can shave with it, and yes I did) If you enjoy quality knives I'd check one out. It's now my EDC knife, which I though it was going to be a tad large as I'm always in dress clothes, but I hardly notice it. I was sad to put away my CRKT and my Kershaw (now belongs to my wife) But this knife is awesome. http://www.hoguestore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=667_700&products_id=6995 Outdoors I carry my Gerber LMF-II, it's proven its self to be a great sturdy knife I've split wood with it, demo'd a wall in my basement with it (because why not). It easy to put an edge on and keeps the edge. It's particularly good at loping off fish heads.
